How we pack, dispatch and deliver your order fresh from our kitchens to your doorstep.
Thank you for choosing Elavarasi Foods. Every pack we make is prepared with care, and we want it to reach you fresh, crisp and in perfect condition. This policy explains how orders placed on elavarasifoods.com are processed, shipped and delivered. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
1Where We Deliver
We currently deliver to all serviceable PIN codes across India. Enter your PIN code on the product page or at checkout to confirm delivery availability for your address. International container and air courier shipping is available upon request via our dedicated Export Division.
2Order Processing Time
- Orders are processed and dispatched within 1–3 business days (Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays) after payment confirmation.
- Orders placed after 2:00 PM IST are treated as placed on the next business day.
- During festival seasons (Deepavali, Pongal, Onam) and bulk-order rushes, dispatch may take 1–2 additional days. We will inform you if your order is delayed.
- Snacks are packed fresh in small batches, so dispatch timelines may vary slightly by product.

The exact shipping charge is always calculated and shown transparently at checkout before you make any payment. Charges may vary for heavy bulk shipments.
5Packaging and Freshness
- All products are packed in sealed, nitrogen-flushed food-grade pouches and shipped in protective rigid outer cartons to prevent crushing and moisture.
- Crisps and murukkus are delicate by nature. A minimal amount of crumbs or minor breakage at the bottom of the pack is normal and does not affect product quality or taste.
- We dispatch only fresh batches with at least 75% of their shelf life remaining. The batch number, packing date and Best Before date are printed clearly on every pack.
6Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched from our central kitchen, you will receive the courier name, tracking AWB number, and live tracking link via Email, SMS and WhatsApp. You can also track your shipment status at any time by entering your order number on our website.
7Delivery Attempts and Undelivered Orders
- Our courier partners will make up to 3 delivery attempts. Please keep your phone reachable on the scheduled delivery day.
- If delivery fails because of an incorrect or incomplete address, an unreachable phone number, or customer refusal to accept the parcel, the shipment returns to our facility. We may then re-ship upon payment of re-shipping costs, or refund the product value after deducting the forward and return shipping costs.
- Please make sure your full address, landmarks, PIN code and mobile number are verified at checkout. Address changes are possible only before the order has been handed to the courier.
8. Inspect Your Parcel on Delivery
We strongly recommend recording a continuous unboxing video when you receive and open your parcel. If the parcel looks visibly tampered with or damaged, or if an item is missing, please inform us within 48 hours of delivery. See our Refund & Return Policy for resolution steps.
9Bulk, Gifting and Wholesale Orders
Bulk orders, corporate hampers, wedding favors, and wholesale carton shipments have dedicated logistics schedules and custom shipping freight quotes. Please write to orders@elavarasifoods.com or visit our Bulk Orders page to coordinate customized dispatch.
